Happy Birthday to Us! - 2013

And here’s a little something extra for the both of us.

You’ll hear me say it a million times, as a half-joke of mine, I say it’s been downhill for me since age 18. I don’t really look forward to my birthday much anymore. I don’t smoke, I don’t like alcohol, I’ve got no real privilege milestones to look forward to anymore. Today, I’m 21.

I hold tight to my youth. A year ago, today, I would’ve told you I loathe my birthday for that reason. But it was late this afternoon last year that I discovered that I share it with none other than our own goddess herself. Then it became something to appreciate again!

If I can celebrate my heroine’s special day just the same as mine, then aging might not be so bad, huh? At least I'll have someone amazing to cope with it with!

Like I said, Lauren, you've kinda had my back from the start.

I'm not the kinda guy who believes in destiny, but sometimes for fun, I like to believe coincidences don't exist.

Here's hoping you have a damn good one, 'cuz you've already made mine for a long while.

And you can expect one of these every year from now on, since it's kinda hard for me to forget..
